On 12th December 2012, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted the reception on an auspicious occasion of  85th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the National day of the Kingdom of Thailand at Radisson Hotel, Astana.  Approximately 150 guests from Kazakhstan's Government and private sectors, Ambassadors and diplomatic corps attended the event including H. E. Mr. Ergali Egemberdi, Deputy Minister of Labour and  Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan who was the guest of honour.  The Thai Royal Anthem and Kazakhstan's National Anthem were performed by the band before  Mr. Wattana Kunwongse, Charge d' Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy, delivered his remarks on the Royal activities and development projects . The remarks were  followed by the toast H.M. the King of the Kingdom of Thailand and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
