On 10 July 2014, Mr. Alikhan Baimenov, Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs  and Mr. Visoot Prasitsiriwongse ,Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) of Thailand signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Office of the Civil Service Commission of Thailand and  the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the field of Civil Service. The signing of the said MOU is one of the areas of cooperation under the 2nd Meeting of Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation held in Bangkok, Thailand during 21-22 June 2012.
