On 9 August 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana organized a ceremony on the Occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on 12 August 2023. The ceremony was presided by H.E. Ambassador Chatchawan Sakornsin, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, and was attended by the Embassy's officials and Thai nationals residing in Astana, Kazakhstan. The ceremony included well-wishes offering in front of the Royal Portrait, candle lighting to celebrate this auspicious Occasion, a tribute song singing to the Queen Mother of the Thais, and signing of a book of congratulations for Her Majesty The Queen Mother.
