On 4-5 August 2016 H.E. Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sport of Thailand, paid a visit to Astana in order to strengthen relations on tourism and sports between Thailand and Kazakhstan.  Minister of Tourism and Sport of Thailand paid courtesy calls to Minister of Investment and Development, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan.  Minister of Tourism and Sport of Thailand also visited the EXPO 2017’s site and Thai Pavilion in order to prepare for Thailand’s participation in the EXPO.
