On 1 June 2021, H.E. Lt. Chatchawan Sakornsin, RTN., Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, participated in a tree-planting ceremony organised by the CICA Secretariat in the area of the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. The ceremony was held on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of CICA next year. Ambassadors of CICA member states and observers were invited to plant 30 Red Rowan trees to symbolise peace, fertility and well-being, which corresponds to the major goals of CICA to promote peace and prosperity in Asia.
