On the Resumption of the Visa of Arrival (VOA) for Kazakh citizens and
Measures regarding the Entry into Thailand and Quarantine for Foreign Citizens

        With reference to the Embassy’s Announcement No. 8/2564 dated 31 March 2021 on the measures regarding the entry into Thailand and quarantine for foreign citizens, the Embassy would like to announce the following :

        1. From 1 October 2021, travelers holding passports of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be able to obtain Visa on Arrival (VOA) at ports of arrival in Thailand. The period of stay in Thailand for Visa on Arrival (VOA) is 15 days.

        2. From 1 October 2021, the quarantine period will be reduced from 14 days (15 nights) to 10 days (11 nights) for travelers who did not obtain a vaccination certificate or vaccination passport and from 14 days (15 nights) to 7 days (8 nights) for travelers who have been fully vaccinated for 14 days before arriving in Thailand. The acknowledged vaccines are 1. Sinovac 2. AstraZeneca 3. Pfizer 4. Johnson&Johnson 5. Moderna 6. Sinopharm and 7. Sputnik V.

        3. From 1 October 2021, travelers from all countries/territories who have been fully vaccinated for 14 days before arriving in Thailand can enjoy the Sandbox scheme including the Phuket Sandbox and Samui Plus programs. Arrival requirements for 'Phuket Sandbox' visitors who wish to apply for a 'Visa on Arrival' (VOA) are attached hereto for the travelers’ information.

О возобновлении действия Визы по Прибытию (VOA) для граждан Казахстана и мерах      касательно въезда в Таиланд и карантина для иностранных граждан

            Ссылаясь на объявление Посольства № 8/2564 от 31 марта 2021 года о мерах, касающихся въезда в Таиланд и карантина для иностранных граждан, Посольство сообщает следующее:

            1. С 1 октября 2021 года туристы, имеющие паспорта Республики Казахстан, смогут получить визу по прибытию (VOA) в пунктах прибытия Таиланда. Срок пребывания в Таиланде по визе по прибытию (VOA) составляет 15 дней.

            2. С 1 октября 2021 года период карантина сокращается с 14 дней (15 ночей) до 10 дней (11 ночей) для лиц, которые не получили сертификаты/паспорта вакцины и с 14 дней (15 ночей) до 7 дней (8 ночей) для лиц, которые прошли полную вакцинацию не менее чем за 14 дней до прибытия. Признанные вакцины: 1. Sinovac 2. AstraZeneca 3. Pfizer 4. Johnson & Johnson 5. Moderna 6. Sinopharm 7. Sputnik V.

            3. С 1 октября 2021 года туристы из всех стран/территорий, которые прошли полную вакцинацию за 14 дней до прибытия в Таиланд, могут воспользоваться программой Sandbox, включая программы «Phuket Sandbox» и «Samui Plus». Требования к прибытию для посетителей «Phuket Sandbox», желающих подать на «Визу по прибытию» (VOA), прилагаются к настоящему документу для сведения туристов.

1. Ensure that you have an approved 'Certificate of Entry' (COE) before flying to Thailand (printed version required). You can apply for the COE for Visa on Arrival via https://coethailand.mfa.go.th : choose the Type of 11 (Exempt) - Visa Exemption.
2. Download the mobile application upon arrival.
3. Be prepared to have all documents checked at the 'Health Control' at Phuket International Airport.
4. When applying for the 'Visa on Arrival' you will need to:

     - Fill out the Application Form provided

     - Ensure that your Passport is valid for at least 30 days

     - Have a confirmed return flight ticket

     - A 'SHABA' confirmation of a 'SHA Plus' hotel for a minimum of seven <7> days

     - Two <2> passport sized self portrait photos without hats/caps or sunglasses

     - Show that you are carrying Ten Thousand <10,000> Baht (Twenty Thousand <20,000> for a family) in any currency

     - Two Thousand <2,000> Baht for the 'Visa Application Fee'

*** Please note that VOA will be granted for only fifteen <15> days, and it cannot be extended ***

5. Clear the 'Immigration' process.
6. Proceed to the Baggage Hall and collect luggages.
7. Proceed to 'Customs'.
8. Proceed outside the Terminal to the compulsory 'RT-PCR' Covid-19 test station.
9. Depart to your SHA Plus hotel with a 'SHA Plus' prebooked transportation (directly with no enroute stops).
10. Check In to your SHA Plus hotel and await in your hotel to recieve 'negative' RT-PCR test results before enjoying your stay in Phuket.
