On 13 December 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana hosted lunch to congratulate and recharge energy for the National Team of Youth Ski from Thailand and their coach who came to participate in Ski Championships held in Schuchinsk, Kazakhstan, since 7 December 2023, to collect FIS points for the Olympics’ qualification. All athletes of the Thai team have fought with all their might under the hard-biting climate with temperature below 30°C and have now gained better FIS points. One of them, Mr. Thanakon Ngoeichai (Kla) has already won a quota to participate in the next Youth Winter Olympic Games 2024, which will be held in South Korea.
