During last week, H.E. Ambassador Chatchawan Sakornsin of Thailand and the staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana, had taken turn in cheering Thailand’s women paravolley sitting volleyball team at the 2023 World ParaVolley Sitting Volleyball, Asian Zone Championship, organized in Astana, Kazakhstan, between 3 - 8 July 2023. After being defeated by No. 1, China, and No. 2, Japan, of Asia, the team managed to win over India in the match of 6 July 2023 with a score of 3-0, and over Mongolia in the close match of 7 July 2023, making Thailand team rank No. 5 out of 8 teams in this competition. The Embassy wishes to congratulate the team and will be cheering for them in the upcoming Asian Games 2023 to be held in Hangzhou this October 2023.
