On 31 August 2021, H.E. Lt. Chatchawan Sakornsin, RTN., Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, met with H.E. Mr. Kairat Sarybay, Executive Director of the Secretariat of CICA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia), to make a voluntary contribution from the Royal Thai Government in the amount of 14,900 US dollars to support the work of the CICA Secretariat in promoting peace, stability and security in Asia. CICA was established in 1992 and currently has 27 member states. Thailand became a CICA member in 2004.
