On 28 July 2024, H.E. Mr. Chatchawan Sakornsin, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Kazakhstan, entrusted Dr. Orathai Phubunlap Gunaseelan, Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana, to welcome the arrival to Thailand of a delegation of 6 doctors from Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, and a delegation of 6 executives of the halal and food industry of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Tajikistan. The visits of the delegations are parts of the Royal Thai Embassy’s 3 projects, aimed at enhancing Thailand’s wellness and medical excellence, raising awareness of Thailand’s progress in the halal products and services, and promoting Thai food products in the Central Asian countries. The projects are in line with “Thailand Vision: IGNITE THAILAND”, geared toward Thailand becoming Premier Global Industrial Hub in tourism, wellness and medical care, and agriculture and food.
