On 8 - 11 November 2024, Dr. Orathai Phubunlap Gunaseelan, Chargé d'affaires, a.i., together with Mr. Seksan Anantasirikiat, Senior Researcher at the International Studies Centre (ISC) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, participated in a series of discussion on the topics related to diplomacy and international affairs as well as ways and means to enhance Thailand-Kazakhstan academic and educational partnerships with academia and executives of several leading think tanks and educational establishments of Kazakhstan in both Astana and Almaty cities. These think tanks and educational institutions include MIND of Maqsut Naribayev University, the Kazakhstan Institute of Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KazISS), the Foreign Policy Research Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FPRI), Nazarbayev University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, SDU University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakh-British Technical University, and Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
