On 12 December 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana held a ceremony to pay homage on the occasion of the fiftieth day following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, who led the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in paying respect, observing a 93-second period of silence, chanting prayers, and meditating as an act of merit-making dedicated to Her Majesty.
