On 16 October 2024, Dr. Orathai Phubunlap Gunaseelan, Chargé d’affaires, a.i., led the team of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana in the charitable activities, held at the “Specialized Orphanage House” of the Akimat of the city of Astana to commemorate the Nawamindra Maharaj Day on 13 October 2024 and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day on 23 October 2024. The activities comprise the provision of such essential items as towels, bathrobes, socks, autumn and winter shoes, chairs, and plastic containers for toys storage for children between 2 and 4 years old who are under the care of the Orphanage House. In addition, the Embassy’s team also participated in “Tusau Kesu”, the Kazakh tradition of cutting the fetters on a child’s feet so that their future road in life is easy and bright.
