On 28 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana held a ceremony to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, who led the officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in laying a floral tribute, paying respects, and signing the book of condolence before the royal portrait of Her Majesty. The ceremony was held in remembrance of Her Majesty’s gracious benevolence and lifelong dedication to the Thai people.
