On 3 October 2024, Dr. Orathai Phubunlap Gunaseelan, Chargé d'Affaires, welcomed the Thai delegation to Astana to participate in two CICA events, namely, the 7th CICA Youth Council and the Rally of Volunteer Movement Leaders under the auspices of the CICA Youth Council. The Thai delegates comprise Mr. Trin Sriwong, Director of Strategy and Planning Division of the Department of Children and Youth of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security of Thailand, and 3 Thai volunteer youth from the Prince of Songkla University of Thailand. The events, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, is aimed at being a platform for sharing information and raising awarenss among the CICA Member States on the significant role of volunteerism in contributing to the sustainable development of each country. The participation in person of the volunteer youth from the CICA Member States, including Thailand, is sponsored by the Government of Kazakhstan.
