On 22 April 2025 H.E. Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, was invited to give welcome remarks at the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sport Year 2025 Networking Event, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Almaty. The event, organized by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in conjunction with the Kazakhstan International Travel Fair (KITF) to be held between 23 -25 April 2025, was well attended by over one hundred participants, comprising 12 Thai companies in related business and representatives from Kazakh tour operators, travel agents and airlines.

In her address, Ambassador Piyapin underlined the main objective of the event in broadening business networking between representatives of Thailand and Kazakhstan travel business, as well as updating the information on Thailand’s latest all-year-round campaign of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sport Year 2025. The Ambassador also expressed Thailand’s appreciation to travel business partners of both countries for their contributions and supports in promoting Thai tourism in Kazakhstan market.

On this occasion, Ms. Suladda Sarutilavan, Executive Director of TAT European, Africa, Middle East and Americas Region, gave an impressive briefing on Thailand’s Five Grand, the concept which lies at the heart of Thailand’s 2025 tourism campaign, namely, Grand Festivity, Grand Moment, Grand Privilege, Grand Invitation and Grand Celebration.

The Networking Event, featuring business matching, product updating, a series of cultural performances, and exciting Price Draw, marks another milestone in promotion of Thailand’s tourism as well as Thailand’s visibility in Kazakhstan, and succeeds in strengthening Thailand and Kazakhstan partnership in tourism industry.
