The Royal Thai Embassy in Astana held a sandalwood flower offering ceremony and commemorative ceremony at the Embassy to mark the anniversary of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on 24 October 2026. H.E. Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, presented a sandalwood flower bouquet, delivered remarks in remembrance of Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence, and led the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in paying respect, chanting prayers, and meditating as an act of merit-making dedicated to Her Majesty.
