On 21 May 2025, H.E. Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, chaired the meeting of Team Thailand of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana via online video conference platform. The meeting was attended by Director of Commercial Affairs Office in Moscow, Minister-Counsellor (Security) and Minister-Counsellor (Agriculture) of the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Office in Moscow, and officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana.

The Team discussed and exchanged information and views on ways to further promote cooperation between Thailand and Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in all dimensions. The meeting acknowledged the accomplishment of missions and projects carried out
and to be implemented by each agency in the fiscal year of 2025. The meeting also brainstormed ways to streamline cooperation between agencies to further enhance Thailand’s bilateral relations with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
