On 23 November 2024, Dr. Orathai Phubunlap Gunaseelan, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., led the team of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana in a friendly bowling tournament, organized by the Embassy of Malaysia in Astana. The event was aimed at strengthening ties and enhancing networking between personnel of the Astana ASEAN Committee, currently comprising four ASEAN Embassies, namely, the Royal Thai Embassy, the Embassies of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
