On July 22, 2026, Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Senior Official Committees Meeting at the CICA Secretariat. Mr. Azer Mustayev, Director of the Regional Security Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, chaired the meeting which was held in a hybrid format with 28 member countries participating.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador joined the Secretariat of CICA and CICA member countries in the deliberation on the preparation of the 7th CICA Summit to be held on 15 October 2026 in Baku, particularly, the drafting of CICA Charter and the Baku Declaration, which are expected to be adopted during the 7th CICA Summit.
