The Royal Thai Embassy in Astana extends its warmest congratulations to Thai students who participated in the International Research Project Competition in Mathematics and Mechanics named after U. Zholdasbekov, held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from 15 to 18 April 2026. The Thai teams delivered outstanding performances and received multiple awards across various categories.

On 17 April 2026, H.E. Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, welcomed and hosted a luncheon for the delegation at the Ambassador’s Residence to congratulate the Thai students on their success in the competition. The Ambassador also commended the dedication and capabilities of all Thai students for bringing pride to the nation on the international stage, and expressed appreciation to all parties involved for their important role in supporting and developing the potential of Thai youth.

 

Participation in the Competition, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, not only provided an opportunity to build academic networks in relevant fields, but also contributed to strengthening Thailand–Kazakhstan cooperation in education in the long term.
