The Royal Thai Embassy in Nur-Sultan together with the Muay Thai Federation of Kazakhstan will jointly organize the Thai-Kazakh "Muay Thai" Championship on 11 September 2022 at 17.00 hrs. (Almaty Local Time) at the KazakhFilm Studio in Almaty. The Muay Thai Competition comprises 6 friendly matches between Thai and Kazakh boxers and one special match between Thai professional boxers.

         The objectives of the "Muay Thai" Championship are to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Kazakhstan in 2022 and to strengthen people-to-people contact through “Muay Thai”. The event will help further promote “Muay Thai” or Thai boxing among Kazakh and Central Asian public. This event is also supported by the Sports Authority of Thailand and the National Sports Development Fund of Thailand.

         The Thai-Kazakh "Muay Thai" Championship will be broadcasted live through Qazsport TV Channel and its website at https://qazsporttv.kz/ru/live. Moreover, the Thai public can also watch the show live at T Sport 7 TV Channel and its Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/TSports7Official
