On 31 August 2022, Mr. Chatchawan Sakornsin, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan presided over the opening of the Online Business Matching between Thai exporters and Kazakh importers. The event was held as part of the Thai Food and Halal Products Promotion Project, jointly organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Nur-Sultan and the Office of Commercial Affairs under the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow. The activity is aimed at (1) connecting Thai food and halal product exporters and Kazakh importers and distributors, (2) expanding channels for business networks between the two countries, and (3) preparing for the business opportunities in the post COVID-19 pandemic period.

     The Thai-Kazakh Online Business Matching was participated by 6 Kazakhstan’s importers and distributors. It was also joined by 26 Thailand’s food and halal products exporters.
